Board games/games for 2 people

Hi all i'm looking for 2 player games for me and DD14 to play.
She is autistic and loses concentration easily but really wants some games for us to play.
Any suggestions?

Ticket to ride Nordic countries is for 2-3 players. My teens love all the versions.

Sequences currently on Amazon on offer, really fun for 2 plus players, some rules but not complex. We play a lot of board games and this is a great game. Possibly Yahtzee as well.

Dobble is quick and no rules but good fun. You can play as many or as few rounds as you like

Connect 4
If she likes words - Boggle
If she likes logic - Mastermind or Draughts
Snakes & Ladders

Or good old noughts & crosses with pen & paper.

The old ones are the best IMO.

Scattergories is a good game for two players and each game only lasts a few minutes so you can play as many or few as you like.

I agree ticket to ride, the us 1913 and European one can both be played with 2 players, it takes some skill and a little luck so is a nice mixture, is easy to learn and isn't overlong

Splendor and Azul are both limited time wise. Both are good with 2-4 players. Very different with 2 and 4 players.
