Oh hive mind, help me find this toy...

DS 4 was scrolling through a number of videos on YouTube on my phone last week. He loves diggers, trucks, farm machinery, monster trucks, as opposed to actual cars. Chunky/utility type vehicles.

So, he's seen something on one of these videos, and has now asked Father Christmas for "green digger with mote". I know the "mote" bit means remote controlled. Whatever I look up, brings me to mainly John Deere tractors, and I know it's not these as he's quite clear on what a tractor is.

However, he's not clear on what a digger is. He calls a digger, a digger, but also he calls combine harvesters, excavators, anything with a scoop like a snow plough, a digger too. Anything with a crane is also a digger.

Can anyone find me something suitable for a 4yr old, that falls into any of those definitions of digger, and is remote controlled? All I find is John Deere tractors, things with very complicated looking remotes, or things over £100.

Were you signed into YouTube? If so if you go to your general Google account your viewing history should be in there so you can see which videos he watched.

Nope, can't see the history. He watches one, then sees "suggested" ones under and just clicks through whatever he fancies.

If it was on the YouTube app, go to Youtab and it might be on the recently watched videos

Odd idea but could he possibly be mispronouncing and mean 'Grave Digger' the monster truck? they make lots of toys and you see them all over so an advert wouldn't be odd.
