Children’s Gifts Ideas for Charity Collection

I’m looking for ideas for gifts for a charity that my work are collecting for.
we are looking to donate gifts to around 50 year 1 and 2 children and are looking for best value for money for a large amount of gifts. It will be a number of people within the business that will be donating either money or gifts so I’m hoping for some ideas I can give people. I’m thinking of saying to people something like, “here’s an idea if you want to spend £5” (for example) and thinking of bundles of books, small toys, art supplies etc also that we may be able to split down.

so does anyone have any ideas please?

If you can get to Costco they do lots of children’s book bundles for all ages and they are much better than the books from The Works (a bit crappy I think unless you are lucky). We’ve bought these bundles many times either for DS or for his birthday party bags.

For toys and art supplies I don’t know of any specific retailer but you could look for ones that might be doing 3 for 2 deals etc.
