Can anyone recommend a dash cam for DS?

Hi everyone, as it says above- can anyone recommend a good dash cam for DS? He's a fairly new driver and he's asked for one for Christmas. I know nothing about them so any recommendations would be appreciated.

Next base have really good picture clarity.
They start from £60 and go into £££’s. If there is a Halfords near you they may have them on display so you can have a look, but you can get them from lots of places. They plug into cigarette socket or you can buy an extra kit to hardwire them in.

Another recommendation for Next base seemed to be the brand of choice among card enthusiasts like my DH.
