Stocking fillers for toddlers

PlumpShady · 25/11/2023 16:44

Hi! Could anyone with toddlers please share what’s going in their Christmas stocking?

So far all I’ve got is chocolate and a little box of Peppa card games (snap, happy families type thing).

Keen not to stuff it full of tat that she will play with once and forget about!

Tangerine
Little bag of popcorn
Little bag of chocolate coins

Son has just turned three for context.

Catsonskis · 25/11/2023 16:56

I have a 3 and 1 year old and I’m getting

  • tooth brush
  • new novelty flannel (prob frozen 🙄)
  • fuzzy or character socks
  • chocolate coins
  • satsuma
  • pack of stickers for 3 year old and the reusable bigger gel stickers for the 1 year old
  • small Christmassy teddy (reindeer/penguin etc)
  • crayons
  • bubbles/bubble wand
  • new camelback cups each
  • hair bows/bands
  • a tonie each
  • probably some small piece of tat that they’ll love despite being from the cheapo shop and they’ll play with that for days instead of the large dolls house I’ve got them as their main gift.

they’ve got the dolls house and accessories as their main gifts, jigsaw/puzzle each, book each, another tonie each, craft set each, little one is inheriting her sisters first dolls pram and eldest is inheriting a cousins scooter, Christmas Day dresses each and a Disney doll

Caspianberg · 25/11/2023 16:57

Also. I will just put anything small sized in the stocking. So for example the tonie is a gift from granny, but she’s happy for it to go in stocking.

bettynutkins · 25/11/2023 20:49

Oh and paint sticks are brilliant.

If your toddler is pretty good, they can draw on pvc doors and glass. My toddler draws all over our back doors and then uses a spray bottle and cloth to clean and repeat. He absolutely loves it and I just properly wipe is down once he's finished 😃

They can also obviously be used on paper etc.

TheBirdintheCave · 25/11/2023 23:00

I'm wondering how big some of these stockings are! 😂 I sewed all of ours and thought they were quite big at the time but I definitely couldn't fit half of this stuff in 😅
