Do you still give christmas presents to your adult grandchildren or do you slow down/stop once they get to 18?

My parents kind of moved to sweets and around €10/15 in cash for each of them when my youngest niece turned 15 and the oldest was 19. My mum is semi NC with my sister but I know she still gives one of my nieces Christmas money for her and her great-grandchildren each year.

My mum gives me money and I buy for my DD (16) now. But that's thanks to Brexit causing issues with sending parcels, her not being able to buy what DD really likes and DD being very fussy about surprises (ASD).

@reluctantbrit thanks for the insight. My nan sort of stopped gifting me anything after I turned 18. She'll put a tenner in my card and the under 18's grandkids get £20 and presents. I admit I do feel a bit left out but don't want to seem entitled either

yes, my parents didn't want to stop for one but not the others. And with teens money is always a good option anyway.

To be fair, my parents never gave big Christmas presents to the grandchildren, it's normally around the €20 mark anyway.
