I don't know him very well but his big thing outside work is gaming - however is there anything you can buy a gamer that costs under £15??

We work in procurement (he's the trainee) so job doesn't lend itself to gifts either :(

A voucher for the games console he plays?

Hill1991 · 22/11/2023 13:06

B&m do some lovely gaming things like travel mugs, coffee mugs, water bottles and signs that are all under £15

LED light strip

Specialist gaming mousemat?
Headset hanger?

My boys are gamers and appreciate these things.

Steelseries have some mats in budget, they are just plain but have the correct texture.

Coffee voucher for somewhere like prett?

LudicrousDickbiscuit · 22/11/2023 13:11

Air pods cleaning kit for a fiver from Amazon, then a massive bar of dairy milk for £7.50 from Tesco.

BigBoysDontCry · 22/11/2023 13:11

Actually amazon have some decent gaming mousemats in budget too

User562377 · 22/11/2023 13:15

Do you know if he games on xbox, PC, PlayStation? I'd just buy him a £10 voucher for whichever one he uses and a bar of chocolate.

ScarboroughHair · 22/11/2023 13:16

Ooh thank you, more ideas than I had expected. I can't do vouchers as it's not in the spirit of our work Secret Santa but looking at headset/console stands, that looks like a good option.

Thumb grips or controller skin for whatever gaming console he uses.

BigBoysDontCry · 22/11/2023 13:20

Probably a good option OP as he'll have a headset no matter whether it's a console or a PC.

This one looks 17 year old worthy

Actually I really like that @LeonardWoolf , seems suitably light-hearted for work Xmas lunch.

A gaming mug (and hot chocolate!)

Monkeymonkeymoo · 22/11/2023 14:33

Maybe this: https://www.tkmaxx.com/uk/en/gifts/novelty-gifts/grey-playstation-controller-mug-11x9cm/p/36336876
With some nice tea/coffee/hot chocolate or a Starbucks voucher

housethatbuiltme · 22/11/2023 14:42

Mouse, Keyboard, Headphones, Controller, Controller charger etc... they actually aren't all that pricey. Basically practical gadgets linked to playing.

As the mam of a gamer I will say a mug or novelty sign wont get use.

rwalker · 22/11/2023 15:14

Another one for chocolate controllers
