Working vacuum cleaner for children?

I know this sounds crazy, can anyone recommend a vacuum cleaner for kids that really works? My son loves using the big one, I'm happy to get a toy but some online suggest they actually work - is this really true - it's a genius idea if it is!!!

The dyson ones have very light suction

Good to know - might go for a different brand! Wish they'd just make a fully working one but in small size!!

The Henry is battery operated and picks up fluff.

DS loved the vacuum when he was about 3 years old, we've had both the Dyson and Henry and they were a big hit.

Normal cordless with the head attached directly & not via a pole?

I wasn't meaning "light" as in poor - just that it does gently pick stuff up
