Baby Annabell or Baby Annabell active?!

My 6yo DD has asked for a talking doll for Christmas. Has anyone seen both of the above and could let me know differences? The first seems to cry real tears but wondering if the sounds may be better on the second! Thanks

Have you heard the sound on either? I've seen an older one and it is a bit loud and also you could really hear the motor going for the dummy sucking

Have a look on My Doll Best Friend - they have a wide range of dolls who make sounds and talk that are much nicer than Baby Annabell.

My daughter recieved annabell active for her birthday last weekend and she is a huge hit, she absolutely adores her and is taking her everywhere. I wouldn't say her cry was too loud and she is quiet pretty soon after not interacting with her.

I'm also in the same position. I have 2 year old twins! One wanted a 'brown baby annabell' so I've got her the Leah active but the other wanted a 'pink baby annabell' I ordered the Annabell from a store. when I collected, I noticed a different box initially. Then realised that the Annabell I had bought was an older version. Thankfully the store refunded me and I've now purchased the Annabell Active but other than the gymnastics - what is the difference? Does the active still do all the crying of real tears etc? my friend's daughter had the Annabelle a few years ago and it had a soft body but her mam couldn't remember much about the functions of the doll. Hoping I've not wasted a pile of money on a 'newer' version that doesn't do anything different!

Does Annabell active make real tears ?
