I've bought a 6ft Silverado Slim pre-lit Christmas tree from Balsam Hill, which has just arrived.
I wanted to check that the lights worked so I've taken it out of the box, assembled it and plugged it in.
I haven't bothered fluffing it properly, but I've noticed that some of the string lights don't have very much wire between one branch and the next so it isn't actually possible to arrange them in the way the instructions describe. The wire is also wound around 2-3 times on each little branch, so I wondered if you're suppose to unwind the wire so the branches can be arranged better?
I didn't expect to have to start moving the lights about and I don't want to damage the tips. Also the very top light doesn't work, not a bit deal because I'd have the star on top, but it is making me wonder if others will go pop soon too. Anyone else with a BH tree had this problem?
