What's a good two person card game for Christmas Day?

Me and my partner have decided to just have a quiet Christmas Day, just us with our two small girls (20 months & 4 months) as we have just moved into our new home and are really excited.

Once they're in bed, we will have a couple (only) of drinks and would love to know what a fun, two person card game is that's easy to learn?

Rummikub would fit what you need.
It's tiles, not cards though, so you would have to buy a set, perhaps to put under the Christmas tree. It's not expensive to buy.

Exploding Kittens is hilarious with 2 or 10. Not too much thinking required, which is handy if slightly tiffled on wine with cheese.
