Gaming monitor for DS, any clever geeky types around?

Looking for a Gaming monitor, to be used with PS4/Xbox for now but DS would love to get a Gaming PC eventually. Have see two in our rough price bracket...the Samsung G5 Odyssey and the Gigabyte M27Q

Samsung only has HDMI connection the Gigabyte has that plus USB and something else... Samsung response time is 1ms and Gigabyte is 0.5ms...

Will put links below as keep losing my note when changing between pages...see how technical I am? lol

Any advice or thoughts or links VERY much appreciated...

Hi OP. I saw you hadn't had a reply so I asked my gamer DS (studying games programming at uni) & am just c&p his reply here. Hope it's of some use!
I'm not too good with monitors. There's not a huge difference between monitors within the same spec range.
1ms vs 0.5ms is negligible
If they're both the same refresh rate and resolution I'd just go for the cheaper one

I wouldn't bother with a monitor just get the whole lot with a gaming pc then its all compatible speeds etc

Totally get the struggle of choosing a gaming monitor. Personally, I'd lean towards the Gigabyte M27Q for the extra connectivity, and that 0.5ms response time is sweet for gaming! You can find it at the portable monitor shop. Keep those tech questions coming; we've all been there!
