Suggest me a strong/durable necklace?

For Christmas, MIL and FIL are giving me a Swarovski pendant I wanted now that its heavily reduced in Black Friday sales.

For this - I'd like a durable necklace - not flimsy and ideally not yellow/rose gold (pendant is black and I like black things so potentially I guess silver/rhodium plated) - and DH will buy me the necklace.

Any suggestions from anyone? Not looking for super pricey thingsjust something to give thependant its home and security!

Actually scratch that - it comes with its own assigned chain from Swarovski so nothing else needed !

If the chain is not strong enough I can highly recomend the Pandora snake chain. I have a clogau pendant that came on a very delicate chain which made it look a bit cheap. I now have it on a thin snake chain and it looks so much nicer, and I never take it off.
