Big Ticket Item for 6 year old boy?

Really struggling to think of my middle son's "main" gift this year. His old sister and younger brother both have a distinct main present. The ideas I have for him are things I think he will really enjoy but am not sure there is anything stand out.

. I want toys specifically for him to play with indoors so no bikes, scooters etc. He is rapidly become drawn to Lego, but has just had his birthday and got a big block set, plus his nan has been asked to get him a Mario Lego starter set.

I want to get him a toy crane game and fill it with small things he likes. He does love kinetic sand and play dough so I am thinking of doing a similar "dig for treasure" box with more small bits covered in sand.

Things I am considering as the "main present":

A Nintendo DS
Another Lego set but a play set with wow factor
A Large Play Dough set with lots of pots

Any other ideas? He is not big into toy cars or dinosaurs (unlike my youngest!)

An Alexa.
It can answer questions, set timers and alarms, tell jokes, play music, play funny or soothing noises (like rainfall or storms), read him to sleep. DD adores hers.

Ooooh he does like the Alexa on his tab but it's a bit janky! Will add that to the list of potentials :)

My ds(5) is getting a Nintendo switch and dd(6) is getting a hover board but obviously that is an outdoor toy.

👍You can get them in the shape of animals etc to keep by his bed.

@Smarshian thanks! We have a Switch which we do all love and my partner wants to get the older 2 each a Switch Lite to interact with it and play their own games but I think DS is a bit young for it; he plays with a wired controller when the Switch is docked for now. DP would love to but I can imagine it getting broken until, on the list for next year though!

A hoverboard does look amazing, he just picked up a skateboard though for his birthday. I am wondering about a Lego skate park set

Table football if you have room for it (we have an Argos one that folds flat but is still bulky - gets lots of use tho)

Yoto mini. They're brilliant. My 6yo uses his Yoto a lot.
