Unless anyone can suggest a fab present I'm going for a subscription to spread the gift over the year.

Doesn't need to be baby related, something of a treat for her.

Any ideas?

Does she like Gin? I'd love someone to send me Gin monthly ....

Ihatethenewlook · 14/11/2023 20:54

You need to give us a rough idea of what she likes op. You can get a subscription for almost anything. Does she like wine? Make up? Biscuits? Gin? Chocolate? Flowers? Coffee? Perfume? Books? What’s your budget? You’ve kind of asked please recommend any present for my friend.

I asked for a book subscription for my 40th as i was shortly off on mat leave and wanted to keep me brain ticking over a bit

Ihatethenewlook · 14/11/2023 20:57

Just to prove me point I recommend this 😂

Houseplanter · 14/11/2023 20:59

Sorry, yes more detail needed...

Likes makeup, perfume, comfy clothes (socks, pjs etc).

No alcohol, fancy food or books.

Budget about £100

A magazine? I didn't have the concentration span for a book when I had a baby but an easy read magazine would have been lovely.

declutteringmymind · 14/11/2023 21:00

A beauty box?

carddino · 14/11/2023 21:00

Amazon prime?

GailTheSnail · 14/11/2023 21:07

I got my sis in law a subscription for glossybox which she seemed to like and seemed pretty good value

stepintochristmas1 · 14/11/2023 21:11

Good Housekeeping is an interesting read .

Houseplanter · 14/11/2023 22:18

Glossy box or similar looks good.. I'd like that myself.

I've never seen her read a magazine but it's worth a better look

Thanks

The ok beauty box is £7.50 a month at the moment

Food like frozen healthy cooked meals or pasta evangelists

I used to love Birchbox but heard glossy box is good. I'd pick that over a magazine. What a lovely thoughtful friend you are

princefamilypaper · 15/11/2023 13:35

Or a flower subscription!

AussieManque · 15/11/2023 13:49

Check out Uncut Stems, a fortnightly flower subscription that prioritises UK grown flowers so you get very seasonal cuttings. Their bunches on Instagram are amazing!
