Those mini boxes of Coco pops as a stocking filler...

Does anyone know where I can buy these, other than in a multipack with other cereals I dont want? These packs only seem to have one box of coco pops as well, and not keen to buy two packs which is a waste.

Checked Amazon recently, but they only had big boxes of them which is too much.

Be cheaper to buy a larger box, but Tesco have an individual box in a set with a bowl and spoon...

Or you could buy the multipack and donate the others to the food bank?

Or eat them??

ThePlantKiller · 13/11/2023 13:34

That's an idea about donating, nobody in the house really likes the other cereals, it tends to be Nestle ones we usually have, such as Shreddies. It looks like the multipacks aren't as dear as I thought either so could maybe stretch to two packs! Thanks for the replies

The last time a bought a multipack.

It had 2 boxes of cocopops

ChicoryDip · 13/11/2023 13:35

Have you got a hotel close by that might have them on a breakfast buffet and would sell you a couple of boxes?

Fluffyc1ouds · 13/11/2023 13:47

We bought an individual mini box from Sainsburys last year! I was also about to buy a multi-pack so was pleased when I found them in the cereal aisle.

ThePlantKiller · 13/11/2023 13:56

Two boxes in one pack, you say? I'll have a rummage through Asda's shelves to see if I can find one. I can see Kelloggs being tight arses with the more sought after boxes though!

That would be a great idea about the hotel but would feel a bit weird walking into a hotel and asking this!

@Fluffyc1ouds I'll stop at Sainsburys and look, thanks 😊

I think Sainsburys have them.

missnevermind · 13/11/2023 14:07

I have actually just bought thec mini cereal box and bowl from Tesco's for my DS for Christmas

BecauseTheWorld · 13/11/2023 14:08

This is a great idea, mine aren’t allowed coco pops! 😁

Trevorton · 13/11/2023 14:30

Good idea but it’s 70p for a box and £3.79 postage.

pickledandpuzzled · 13/11/2023 14:31

Great idea! Any other low cost fillers for people who have everything they need?!

skyeisthelimit · 13/11/2023 14:33

Last year I gave DD a set that was a Coco Pops bowl, spoon and box of Coco Pops. She loved it.

Tesco have them again this year for £8

I think there are usually 2 boxes in the 8 pack though, and they are around £2-3 as they are often on offer.

ha! The cocopops always get left in our house if we have a multipack, mainly on holiday.

UnicornMadeOfPinkGlitter · 13/11/2023 15:14

I have multiple boxes of coco pops as no one likes them in our house. I stopped buying the single packs. I was buying them
for work.
if you’re near Wokingham I’ll gladly give them to you.

MabelMaybe · 13/11/2023 15:27

The cereal bowl with the logo on, and a small box, may be in B&M / Home Bargians. My DC had them in stockings last year.

Mine get a bottle of coke (DS1) and fanta (DS2).
Similar idea, I guess!
Of course, Santa MUST be real, because Mummy NEVER buys cola!

pickledandpuzzled · 13/11/2023 15:40

We have older children- they used to get a can of shandy, or a snowball.
The favourite sweet of choice- flying saucers for one.

It’s all very retro- these make lovely traditions and memories!

VimtoVimto · 13/11/2023 15:41

At one point you could buy them individually at Morrisons but it was several years ago.

Lovelyjubbbly · 13/11/2023 15:43

Morrisons sell individual ones for 50p in my area

PastorCarrBonarra · 13/11/2023 16:03

That vintage Coco Pops set is a nice stocking filler!

I've put the little truckle cheeses in a stocking before. The ones covered in wax.
