18 month old ideas

Hiya, I'm thinking of ideas of what to get for my DD for Christmas. She will be 18 months in December and I'd like to get a toy kitchen.

Fot those with more experience, would this be suitable for her age at all? Or would she be too young? 🤔

Does anyone have any other suggestions at all?

We got the IKEA toy kit hen at a similar age. Got a little bit of use at that age, but really came into its own over a longer period (she used a lot at 3, and at 4 still uses it).

My kids had a small wooden kitchen. My daughter got it for her 1st birthday and they played with it until abput 4 years old. Best preaent we ever got them.

Have you not been to any play cafe or toddler group where you’ve seen her interact with one?

18 months is a good age for a toy kitchen. They like opening and closing the cupboards and putting bits inside, and then it will lend to more imaginative play.

@Razorcroft of course I have, this question was more about long term use rather than an hour in a play cafe where it's all new.
