Anyone seen any lovely wrapping paper?

I got some nice stuff from RSPB last year. Just starting to to think about getting some this year. Must be recyclable and I am not interested in wrapping things in cloth or gift bags (although by all means recommend any of that in case someone else finds it useful)
Thanks

Yes to the RSPB one! But they stopped the one I liked……

Barnados charity shops have some nice brown paper recyclable ones .

I have loads to use up so am having to curb my wrapping paper urges, but I saw some lovely paper last night on the Sostrene Grene website.

It gets ripped off and put in the recycling by lunchtime on Christmas day. As long as it's reasonable for under the tree, I have bought it reduced after Christmas since about 1995! Why pay £7 for three rolls when you can pay less than £3?

I always buy mine from Oxfam, good cause, recyclable and really pretty too.

I just get the cheapest I can find... its a pack of 3x 10 meter rolls for £2.99 I found in the Argos clearance bin this year.

I have 3 kids and find wrapping each in a completely different design helps make everything easier. I think its Robins on roll 1, Santa on roll 2 and Snowflakes on roll 3 this year.

I'll just use up left overs off cuts from last years rolls for family/DH. DH doesn't cares if his is last years babyshark in Santa hats wrapping lol.

Maybe not what you want but we all use brown wrapping paper which gets composted.

Then huge quantities of gorgeous ribbon, one design per person. It is kept in a box, used from year to year and if we give presents early to be opened later it has to be returned during the year. DS is the one I have to nag, he returned his in September although he fully supports the concept. Much of the ribbon is 14 or 15 years old, everyone loves seeing theirs again, like getting baubles out of the box.

Probably not what your looking for but if anyone wants cheaper options both Primark and morrisons have really lovely, reasonably priced wrapping paper this year.
I got a brown paper one with green christmas trees on from Primark that's actually really lovely with my green velvet ribbon!

Gift bag wise b&m looks great but their paper rolls not so great. I’ve picked out some on tkmaxx online I want to see in person. Matalan is normally my go-to but it seems to have shot up in price this year. I love it when I can get M&S in the sales but not been so lucky recently.

Primark great for quick wrapping without tearing actually and often get the kids in there. One design per child so no need to worry about labels.

JollyJolene · 12/11/2023 17:31

Was going to say SG too. Got some beautiful wrapping from there a few weeks ago.

@Forgottenmyphone Oh wow. Their paper is gorgeous. My mum still keeps the nice paper from presents so I might buy some so I'll get it back for the next few years!
