Instax printer or similar?

Are these any good? Trying to think what I can get dd1 for Christmas, she’s at uni and mentioned that she doesn’t have any photos of her friends to stick on her pinboard so I was thinking a mini printer for her phone? But I know nothing about them and they seem a bit pricy? Are there alternatives or are they not as good as the instax ?

I have an Instax Square, prints Instax style square prints, about £15 for 20.

and a Cannon Selphy printer, prints 6x4 photos about £40 for 100 prints

both print straight from phone, both have apps where you can edit before printing.

I love both. The instax are more “trendy” which might appeal to your daughter.

Luckily dd isn’t very trendy so probably wouldn’t mind a cheaper version as long as the photo quality is good. I’m thinking I might wait until Black Friday and see if either are on offer? It’s not something she’s asked for and she has a couple other gifts, I just thought she might like one after she mentioned her friends having photos on their pin boards in their rooms.

I’m sure she would. Cannon Selphy is excellent photo quality, the app allows you to print more than 1 photo on each 6x4 sheet. Waiting for Black Friday is a good idea.
