Anyone else really excited?

Maybe it's because I'm off work. 3 kids youngest is 3 so understanding more now?

Me! There was a lot of hype and build-up for last Christmas and it was a massive disappointment (close family relatives visiting from abroad and then various viruses and finally Covid cancelling every plan we had 😢) so I really feel like we missed out.

So I've been so looking forward to this Christmas. We're hosting my parents for the first time ever and have a few lovely plans in the run-up.

Even my 15yo keeps saying how excited he is about Christmas although I'm not quite sure specifically what he's excited about as he's obviously over all the magic 😬 It makes me wonder what he's expecting 😆 He just loves spending cold winter evenings at home, watching films or playing games with the fire on I think!

My youngest is 5 so still have plenty of magic too 😊

I look forward to Christmas every year, even though we are quite low key on the day. I love the run up to the day , making each day in December festive and cosy.. think cheap things; walks out doors, visits to light switch ins, hot chocolate and Xmas film, Carol singing in church ( I only go at Christmas 🎄).. I love it all! Plus lucky enough to get Christmas off each year x!

I’m starting to get in the Christmas spirit, slowly… I’m trying to hold back because otherwise I’ll be pissed off with it all too soon…for me it’s whenever we see the Coca Cola advert.. which is usually during im a celeb.

Yes because I have taken the decision to pare it right back and focus on quality not quantity

Me, we're not going anywhere for the big day. It's such an immense chore to ship the Christmas presents to my parents and then back again and it all has to be done so early. We've planned a low-key day so nothing can go wrong and no one can be disappointed!!
