I tried Christmas tree flavoured crisps last year. Tasted like licking pine cleaner from the toilet bowl.

😂

Co-op did pigs in blankets flavoured crisps one year but weirdly in the store by me, the "blankets" were like Frazzles and the "pigs" were like wotsits. In the Co-op by work they were actual crisps. The Frazzle/Wotsit ones were amazing but I've not seen them since.

I've just had lemon and chilli lays - so nice!

Remember Walkers Cajun Squirrel crisp?? 🤦‍♀️

Cajun Squirrel??!
Yikes.

Anyone remember the joke hedgehog crisps from the 1980s?

Trade descriptions did them for misleading the general public by advertising as "hedgehog-flavoured" (implying real hedgehogs used in recipe) instead of "hedgehog flavour" (fake flavourings).

Their packets then had to state "“Savour all the flavour of traditional country fare cooked the old fashioned way without harming a single spike of a real hedgehog.”

Just in case any poor souls were hoodwinked... 😆

They donated a percentage from each packet sold to a hedgehog rescue charity, IIRC, which was a nice idea.

Oooho where?!!!!

Tesco's do them.

I'd anyone likes duck, Sainsbury's duck and spiced plum are lovely and taste like crispy duck.

You can get Burts Festive Turkey and Stuffing crisps in Home Bargains, and also Pigs in Blankets ones too.

UtterlyUnimaginativeUsername · 10/11/2023 19:02

The best Christmas crisps flavours, I thought, were Aldi's gin and tonic ones and M&S's prosecco ones. Nothing since has compared at all.

SprinkledGlitter · 21/11/2023 18:12

LittleMooli, those Schiracha mayo Kettle crisps are on offer in Tesco at the moment. They are £1.50.

Walkers have done multipacks in Buttered Festive Turkey and Pigs In Blankets flavours.

I thought they were really greasy. I didn't care for the flavours either they've all been eaten though!

JenniferBooth · 21/11/2023 18:37

@AgnesX Ive tried both and i found them a bit spicy and they repeat on me

Public Service Announcement.....
The Dill Pickle and Jalapeno flavour Kettle Chips are BAD. They are just pure evil in a bag
DO NOT eat.
😂😂😂

Co-op have launched their Christmas crisps range. They have the traditional pigs in blankets flavour, roast potato flavour (potatoes flavoured to taste like potatoes 🤔) and Turkey Tikka Masala which, despite the only connection to Christmas being turkey, are still very tasty.

MissDollyMix · 22/11/2023 15:56

Not part of a Christmas range but I just can’t get enough of the M&S black truffle and olive oil crisps. They’ll definitely be going on my Christmas shopping list!

JenniferBooth · 22/11/2023 19:07

@RumNotRun Of all the Pigs In Blankets ones Co op are the best.
