He wants a gift this Christmas (so not money or an experience) but the only thing he can come up with is a bloody Alexa.
I feel quite viscerally against having a little robot spying on my house 24/7 and he has a smart speaker, kindle and phone already. We had one briefly and it did weird, creepy things and didn’t actually work for the thing we wanted it to do.
