Hi, I've looked through the threads but couldn't see anything so apologies if it's already been posted about - does anyone have any links/ suggestions/ discount codes for a good quality electric train set. It's for 9yo so not a baby/ toddler one - more a hobbyist type. Happy to spend up to around £100 as will be his main present but lots seem to be more than that! Very grateful for any pointers!

Quidco can be REALLY slow - 6 months is not unusual. And I find it sometimes struggles to track, so you have to be on it with checking and then submitting a claim if something hasn't tracked properly.

TopCashBack usually tracks through much more quickly, but also has issues with not always tracking (maybe something to do with how I'm doing it?).

I've realised I have to see both of them as a 'possible' bonus rather than guaranteed money off, and not make purchasing choice solely on their discount as it's not guaranteed and I've had some that just haven't tracked and my claim for them has failed.

Saying all of that, yours looks like it has tracked properly, so you should get the money eventually!

Another cashback tracker which CAN be used alongside these ones, and requires no clicks or tracking once your card details are added is airtime rewards. Ive added my code to the Bargain Referral thread. Money comes off your phone bill.

some decent ones here under £100 and a free bus when you spend over £50. My son has a few of the hornby sets and he’s 10 now. They’re the best quality train sets

im hoping the quidco cash back tracks. I normally see it as a little extra but today i bought a much bigger lego set than i would normally buy in the hope i actually get £20 back.

did you use any other discount codes as well as this? it often stops them from accepting it. Topcashback are annoying for this

Yappy have 5£ off their personalised dog calendars today with the code 2024. I thought they needed pictures uploading (which I dont really have of my pil's dog) but if you pick the breed and name, it features silhouettes and their name written in pebbles in the sand, that kind of thing.

Massive long shot! My daughter got this fairy from wookey hole with her pocket money in the summer. She knocked it off her bedside table and both hands came off. She is distraught. She is going to ask Santa to magic it back together 😐
