Toys for 8 month old?

Hi all.

my baby will be 8 months in December. What sort of toys or things should I buy for her first Christmas?

Or do I buy presents that she will use for when she is 1years old.

would love to hear what you bought your little ones at this age

Toys that she will grow into is fine especially if she's an oldest child.

If you need gifts so that an older sibling doesn't comment then practical stuff like a sleeping bag in the next size up or toys that the older sibling used at that age would work well.

Ball pit and balls. We had one and it was a good size to fit in the lounge.

Ride-on vehicle

Mega-Bloks

Dupli (goes from 18+ months)

Books like the That’s Not My… series etc

Walker

Pop and play elephant

Buy stuff she can grow into and get lots of use from.

Small world toys like animals/cars/happyland people
Musical instruments (shaker, rain stick, piano, xylophone)
Teaset

Toomies eggs if you haven’t already got them!
