Gifts for nieces/nephews

I have 5 nieces and 2 nephews, ranging between 6 and 1 years old (similar ages to my own DC) I'm finding it really stressful knowing what to get them all. Any suggestions? Want an actual gift as opposed to an activity/experience. £20-£30 each. Thinking pyjamas and a book each would be the easiest option but I want to be the cool, fun auntie 😆

Well you won’t be with pjs and a book with that age group BUT they will have loads of “things” and your suggestion sounds spot on to me as a parent

Pyjamas and a book each sounds perfect.

(As long as you’re absolutely certain of their individual clothing sizes and comprehension levels. Nothing worse than too-small clothes or too-babyish books.)

This Glow Sketch pillow case was a big hit with my nephew. Kinetic sand is also popular!

Have you asked their parents? I know it's nice to surprise the parents too but they might welcome the opportunity for someone else to provide one of the items off the children's Christmas lists.
We don't buy for children now but when we did, one family used to welcome and often suggest clothes/PJs. Another didn't think anything to wear was a proper present' (don't get me started!)
I'd ask to be honest

Have a look at Wicked Uncle or Firebox. Lots of fun gifts on there.

Failing that, I’d go with anything messy or noisy. Fart blasters, voice changers, slime, glitter, paint, cymbals, a recorder, play dough. Anything that you wouldn’t want a child to play with in your home and that may go ‘missing’ within a couple of days is almost guaranteed to be the thing that they love.

Or Hotwheels. We buy for a few boys under 6 and they’re all obsessed with Hotwheels, especially if you get a track where the cars smash into each other.

I’d ask the parents.

Especially for the 6 year old as they might have a “theme” going on and could use some add on/accessory type gifts.

I got my nephew 5 that huge hot wheels set from the Christmas bargain thread £25 instead of £70. I bought my youngest niece a wooden kitchen and I’ve drawn a blank with my eldest niece! I bought my youngest niece the baby Annabelle recently for her birthday, that went down really well!

my boys are 6 and 9 and they love anything treasure x have you thought about that for the 4+ children? Skull island is only £31 on Amazon atm

Gosh don’t get pyjamas! That’s not what they want.
how about games they don’t have? Do they have Hungry Hippos, Connect 4, Guess Who, Frustration, Kerplunk, Jenga?
for the 1yo I’d get Duplo

Thank you for all the suggestions. I'll have a look into the hot wheels

Wall calendar posters with characters they like
Glowing stickers or led lights
Plushies (bonus points if these are the ones of their favorite characters)
