We’re visiting London for 4 days on the first weekend of December with my 9 & 4 year old daughters. Already have Matilda tickets booked & NHM. Please tell me all the festive, Christmassy things to do whilst we’re there! TIA x

Covent Garden is usually very festive. They normally make it snow once an hour.

We do a route to see the lights starting at the Christmas tree and crib in Trafalgar Square, walking up to the bottom of Regent's Street to see the tree there and of course, the Christmas lights. We turn off onto Jermyn Street to see the lights there, and then walk up to see the window display at Fortnum and Mason which is always fun.
