Nursery Teacher Christmas gifts

I can't decide what to do! My DC is in a nursery 3 days per week, one really lovely key worker but really it feels like two key workers that I speak to, see often, very comfortable with their approach with my DC!

Now for Christmas I was thinking of just getting those two a small gift off my DC and maybe some sweets for the room, but knowing there are 2/3 other regular workers (who I'm not even sure of their names) it feels mean to not acknowledge them as personally when I'm sure they are as involved in the day to day just not at handover times!

So, do I just buy for DC official key worker and something for the room, buy for DC 2 main 'teachers' and something for the room, or just something for the room!

HELP - I'm driving myself mad - also open to suggestions on gifts!

Thanks for getting this far if you did!

Hi i would probably buy for the room and maybe perhaps have your lo make something with you for the 2 members of staff ? Something small and personalised i dont think that would cause any upset .

If you want something for the staff in general, I gifted boxes of sachets of various instant coffee mixes, I had staff I hadn't spoken much with come and say thank you for that!

It went down really well.

Speak with nursery. My sons nursery asked that any gifts were suitable for the staff raffle, which meant all the staff got something, including the kitchen staff.
If they hadn't said I'd have given a small thing to all the staff in the room.

We give something to the key worker and then we do a little parcel of supplies for the room, think crafting bits and pieces, glue, paints etc. The staff have always been so grateful and said they love having the consumables topped up by parents.

These are great ideas! I will drop the admin an email and see if the do a raffle or anything and then maybe some treats for everyone and a nice card from DC for key workers (only 18 months so crafting might be a disaster! Haha)

My kids nursery used to do an "employees wish list". It was fabulous as I could buy something they actually needed. One year they needed a new coffee machine for the staff room so as parents we chipped in and bought a beautiful one. We got such lovely feedbacks from them! Maybe ask for something they might need for the staff room?
