Alarm clock for 5 year old

He's asked father Christmas for an alarm clock. What can I get that's easy to use but relatively cheap?

I love the tell the time alarm clock from dunelm

We got DS1 a sunrise alarm clock about that age.
Things we've realised:
Big, digital numbers - but not too bright a background.
His early rising improved once he had an alarm clock set (to 5.45am)
Be careful with tiny little USB power connectors - they aren't always particularly strong
If the alarm is going to need to go off at weekends too, you might like 2 alarm settings (so the weekend ones can be set a little later!)
