Sainsbury’s Christmas Delivery - Live

Sainsbury’s Christmas delivery slots are now live.

Got mine last week (delivery pass holder). Managed to get early on Christmas Eve which is perfect as still have time to just nip out to get anything that is missed off or unavailable.

Yes got mine last week too, first year doing Sainsbury's, I usually to Tesco, couldn't believe how easy it was, could get Christmas Eve, even managed to change my slot mid way through the week (guessing I could still now). Tesco I had to be up by 6am in a virtual queue!

I went for the 23rd so can run out if anything is missed too. Have used Sainsbury’s for years though and normally pretty decent.

@SadlyACupOfTeaDoesNotSolveEverything yes I stuck with the 23rd too, we pick up our festive food to order on the 23rd so we can run in then for anything missing or forgotten, we don't go to the shops on Xmas eve if we can avoid it! Never had an issue with freshness, only need up to the 26th.

(But I was impressed the 24th was available!)

I got 23rd last week 🙂 Sainsburys for basics and M&S for the meat and treats!

I never shop with sainsburys and didn't know they even delivered here but I've booked one for Saturday 23rd to save battling around the shops. Much more civilised process than the hours of blood, sweat and tears to secure a tesco Xmas delivery slot, even though I used to pay for a delivery pass.

More than one occasion this has backfired on me, but I figure I won't forget about Xmas.

I never used to go to the shops on Xmas Eve either but I find it oddly quieter than the days leading up. Perhaps everyone has the same idea!
