I agree, so expensive for what it is, my dds are really into VW pieces too. There’s a VW outlet in Bicester village if you’re near.

The cheapest I found were these jewellers which had VW earrings for around £77 or £81.

My DD loves hers and I am confident (as I can be!) that they are genuine. There are zillions of fakes out there...

Vg service and arrived in proper box etc etc.

The 3 in 1 Lego rollercoaster was in our Sainsbury’s last Sunday. I went back Monday and got the last one. They were apparently £90 down to £45 but were selling on Amazon for £68.99 so whilst a bargain, not quite the bargain Sains were trying to make out they were. It is a great kit tho!

OliviaFlaversham · 21/10/2023 20:57

It is for the actual sign. I find Etsy sellers so good at replying though for questions-I bought a poster recently and had quite a few qs

Freezingtoes · 21/10/2023 20:58

@gawditswindy do you have Sparks? I have 20% off kids nightwear at the moment which is quite a saving.

I do but nothing off kids nightwear. Women's bras, jeans, things like that. I'll cross my fingers for the next round of discounts.

Well, I’ve ordered and will be over the moon if that’s for the actual sign, but these are from other sellers (who are using the same images) saying theirs is just a deposit and quoting prices more in line with what I would expect (unfortunately)

Gah hope not! Not such the bargain eh 🙄

404usernotfound · 21/10/2023 21:34

Let’s keep our fingers crossed! You never know 🙂

This Ninja Speedi is heavily reduced on Amazon at the minute, from £250 to £160. I've dropped at not so subtle hint to my husband!

Lastminutebride · 21/10/2023 21:38

Hobbycraft have given a £5 voucher for signing up to the app and then I’ve received another £5 birthday voucher
just mentioning in case anyone can benefit from this

@Clucket87 if it's not been claimed please could I have the hamper code? I've got 5% off a £30+ spend if that's of any use to anyone? I also have 15% off cling film and £1 off shower cleaner 😂

Did you get a hamper code? I’ve got one you can have

Someaddedsugar · 21/10/2023 21:45

I did thank you. Thank you for asking - very kind ❤️

Fluffbrush · 21/10/2023 21:47

I’ve just used my £5 off a £15 spend in Amazon for this Ariana Grande Ari Eau De Parfum Spray 100 ml. £33.75 is already a good price for the 100ml and then the discount makes it £28.75. The 50ml is selling at £29!

@Squ1ggle and @Qwerty21 no problem.

I'm sure there were 3 or 4 megaladons on the shelves when I went the other day so hopefully there'll be some left! And I'll ask again about the rollercoaster 😊.

Thank you 😊

Oh man I'd love that too but I find it unlikely. Mine didn't have any signs of it at all!

Ahhh man. Thanks though

Theraffarian · 21/10/2023 21:48

@tellmewhenthespaceshiplandscoz sorry for the late reply , I’ve just checked my account and there is a button to toggle across to turn off the auto renew subscription, although I will probably wait until the free box has been shipped , it said the 1st subscription payment is 1st November.

Oh, this could work for me. Our new Hobbycraft is opening on 30 Oct, so I can't order before then for click and collect. My birthday is 5 Nov. Might work well (I've signed up, but not spent the app fiver yet). Xmas Grin

Seasonofthewitches · 21/10/2023 22:01

Does anyone know anything about drones? DS has asked for one but I haven’t a clue what to look for. Hoping to spend no more than £50 but I don’t know if that’s possible.

Hi Grin ah, no worries and thanks!

I double checked and it looks straightforward like you say as I went for the first option which is the monthly billable one whereas the other options it seems you prepay for the whole period.

But thanks again, I'm amazed I didn't even need to pay p and p so genuinely free! And yes I shall cancel the day I receive it!

Not sure if you know and while it's not free it's still a bargain but if you sign up for the Sephora box and choose the 12 month subscription it is £4.95 delivered and you choose the products plus you can opt for the cute drawstring bag. It comes in a box which last time you could turn inside out and the branding was nice and there were stickers too which oddly DD found as exciting as the contents Grin so yeah, no wrapping required before placing under tye tree.

You need to cancel within 14 days of ordering and setting up but that was easy enough as it was delivered in about 4 days.

So a decent bargain.

tellmewhenthespaceshiplandscoz · 21/10/2023 22:07

To clarify that great price is because it's a discounted first box

My DH is "Jesus woman how many of these boxes do you need?!". He is right. I need an intervention.

Mine wants a penknife

@Ilovepugs2017 one of my boys has his birthday in 2 weeks and then obvs Christmas. My ideas so far are: Zelda hoody,
metal detector, air dry clay, roller skates, Pokémon cards, barking kittens ( exploding kittens expansion pack), Beano subscription, a light in the shape of a flesh eating plant from Mario (smyths), David baddiel books, some cactuses, and a save the bees Christmas pack from friends of the earth. Last year he had a fossil set, a fossil hammer and national geographic geodes which you smash open with the hammer- they are brilliant fun (they sell them on Amazon) and a Yoto box - def recommend those.

I'm after a helping hand you lovely lot.
I want to get my nan finished and am stuck for ideas.
I've got her perfume and Vitamin E cream but want something else, between £30-£40.
But she has everything!
I can't get her clothes as her dog has a tendency to rip her clothes. She has a heated blanket and back warmer. She's 86. Doesn't really go out apart from to the groomers and food shopping with my aunt. Scarf/gloves etc wouldn't be worn.
I'm tempted by gin, even though she has loads.
But would be grateful for some inspiration. Xx

Does she like jigsaws? I got MIL a personalised one (from Boots) and she loved it. You could use a family photo or a photo of her dog?
