Also are there any deals on flavour bottles (if that’s what they are called), the bottles that take cartridges to make flavoured water? Or are they a waste of money?

handmademitlove · 26/10/2023 18:03

@Lovemusic82 how old is your DD? My art obsessed dd's (both teenagers) had those last year and said they were great but very fiddly and took ages - the older one nearly gave up! Just a friendly warning 🙂

Runforwine · 26/10/2023 18:03

I just got this email from https://locketloves.com 35% off Halloween using code HAUNT35 is valid on everything left in this collection. While you're there why not have a browse of the extended Tenner Tuesday collection here!! You won't believe what we have for a tenner!! ❓🤪 And finally GRAB BAGS are filled with exciting wonderful things for a bargain price and can be found here 🥳 They all end 10am tomorrow, 27 October 2023. These are not to be missing and don't forget, it's free UK shipping on all orders over £50.
The leggings are really good and my daughter loves the sweatshirt, I would say the sizing is generous.

Sorry @Houseofsardines there was absolutely nothing of the toy sale left in my local big Sainsbury’s.

InDreamland · 26/10/2023 18:28

The Entertainer have 10% off already discounted toys with code EXTRA10

WimbyAce · 26/10/2023 18:42

Got my wooden toys from Lidl, I wanted the garden and kitchen sets and the pizza set. They also have Christmas wrapping in there now.

need to buy a slow cooker (we are doing practical gifts this year!) for a family of 5. Can anyone recommend a decent one. Don’t mind if it’s a bit spendy but an offer would be better obviously! 😊

I don't know how spendy you're thinking but have you considered an instant pot/pressure cooker instead of a slow cooker. I have one that has slow cook, saute, pressure cook, baking, air frying etc all in one device.

If you have a brain fart and forget to stick the slow cooker on in the morning you can just use the pressure cook function and cook in minutes and still makes meat tender. Sometimes ill cook a pasta bake in it on pressure cook and then stick some cheese on top and air fry to melt. It's a proper one pot wonder.

Double cashback on Quidco tomorrow 🚨
If you were about to buy something this evening that wasn't a bargain, it may be worth holding off until tomorrow morning.

imnottoofussed · 26/10/2023 19:13

@rheasmummy there's one on tkmaxx at the moment. I think qvc also had a deal recently. Not sure of usual price to know what's the best option for you

Dd is 17 but has Autism so likes to do things at 100mph. She usually gets Lego for Christmas and completes some huge sets in quick time. I think I will find it hard watching her destroy a miniature dolls house set as I would love one for myself and am a perfectionist 🤣. Maybe I should get her one of the less complicated ones?

Theraffarian · 26/10/2023 19:35

@6monthstillChristmas no idea what’s going on with Birchbox today , I noticed the same problem with the website . You can email to cancel at [email protected] they are supposed to reply with 24 hours , so if they don’t I guess I will contact my card provider.

Ilovepugs2017 · 26/10/2023 19:44

Completely off topic but how do you pressure cook a pasta bake please? I thought I knew all the instant pot hacks but you've blown my mind lol

Elpheba · 26/10/2023 20:12

See I was just about to say to DH that I want to sell the instant pot, which we hardly ever use, and get a “proper” slow cooker. I think because all the recipes for slow cooker things just don’t seem to work as well in the instant pot. Am I being silly- should I give it another go?

Yalz · 26/10/2023 20:15

Does anyone have a screenshot of what’s in the £55 Boots Beauty Box?

Although it sometimes says it’s out of stock, if I keep trying I can add it to my basket. But if I scroll down the page or click on the photo to see the one which has all the items in the picture I get the “out of stock” message and no more information.

I think I can see 2 St Tropez items, including a mitt, and as I don’t do fake tan they wouldn’t be much use.

Edit: I’ve found a list online here.

handmademitlove · 26/10/2023 20:17

@Lovemusic82 my teens also have ASD 🙂 hyperfocussing is helpful in these tasks - she'll be fine!

handmademitlove · 26/10/2023 20:18

@Lovemusic82 just a thought but they also really like nanoblocks - like tiny Lego!

SadlyACupOfTeaDoesNotSolveEverything · 26/10/2023 20:18

Not had to d to read the thread but just in case no one has posted it.

@Realfastfoodie I have just seen on the kid collective for £29.70 with free delivery over £40?

LostMyRubySlippers · 26/10/2023 20:23

Apologies if this has been mentioned but Quidco have 25% off TU- on top of the 25% discount that TU are already running. Could be useful for anyone needing Xmas pjs etc

Lastminutebride · 26/10/2023 20:28

Any bargains for a 3 year old boy, budget £20-30. I’ve only got girls and no idea what to buy!
