Anyone any lovely ideas for a friend in Melbourne? Have done books/ chocs before- don’t want to spend a fortune in duty/ postage from here?

How much are you looking to spend?perhaps something like a voucher for the Mornington Peninsula hot springs?

also maybe David Jones which is a big department store and have branches in Melbourne.

We order a cheese selection and a wine/beer selection for family in Sydney each year. DH found a local deli that would supply/deliver the cheese, and take credit card payments.

For booze, try Dan Murphys who deliver, and also allow us to pay from here (which should be easily possible given modern day credit cards!)
