Marble rush - have I made a mistake?

I ordered my 7yr old the vtech marble rush for Xmas. I thought I'd picked the corkscrew set but it's actually the launch pad one. Now I'm wondering if it's the best option or if I should get something else? It's smaller than the corkscrew set. We have a small set already which we were given second hand, no idea on brand but it's a generic looking one with glass marbles. It doesn't have a lot of pieces though which is why I wanted to get a new bigger set.
Please let me know if you think I should get a different one and which would be more suitable. My child has some tactile issues which means it's a bit harder for them to do intricate things if that makes a difference to opinions on the best one for them.

We have got the launch pad one for DS6. He's also not great with intricate things but can just about manage this on his own. He loves the rocket (although I personally find it very annoying!). It was the first set he had and we subsequently got him the one with the tombola (sorry, can't remember what it's called) which is a bit bigger but he now uses them together and makes up his own route. I think the launch pad is a good starter set.

We have the adventure set and my kids 4&7 have got their eye on the launchpad. To be honest it’s quite hard to “free build” with compared to a regular marble run and with all the noise it lacks the parental joy that an educational toy should have - but the kids love it. It def has Christmas Day wow factor. May not have year long playability

DS has the adventure / launchpad / corkscrew and speedway and I’d say the adventure set is the best one if you were only going to have one, although these days he just uses all the parts to build his own. He’s 4 so I do still have to help him here and there. They’re great and he plays with them every day to be honest using the parts from each one.

Also the v tech ones don’t technically link up with other brands of marble runs, although DS tries his best with some success!

Thank you. Does the rocket actually fly off ?

Thank you for the replies ☺️

No, it doesn't fly off, just makes lots of annoying sound effects. DS likes to remove it from the set and just carry it around the house with him pretending he's off to the moon (which is where I would like the rocket to go).
