I'd like some nice wrapping paper and fabric ribbons this year. I have no idea where to get any from as I usually just get from a supermarket.

M&S usually. It's good quality and doesn't rip the second you use it.

For ribbon I would suggest going to a haberdasher and getting it there . I've found they have nicer selections and it works out cheaper because you need a fair bit to wrap a gift. The piddly rolls that you buy aren't long enough for doing a few gifts and are expensive.
