I've got and my fruit is soaking in the beer for the stout cake, although I used plum porter as that's somewhat christmassy in itself

I must admit I have seen so much I'd like to cook but there's only 3 of us.

Each year I hope its cover is a little girl in a party frock, with a dog , in frint of the fire next to a huge decorated tree and lots of wrapped gifts .

Oh! I do love my Christmas GH magazine,! I’ve got all of mine going back to the late 80’s 😳
Some of the make up and hair styles in them are startling by todays standards, but
the advice and recipes have changed very little really. When it arrives, I know Christmas is on its way🎄 The TV Xmas ads all get going that week, too ((beginning of November) and I have my first mince pie of the season, with my GH mag, a cup of tea and the dog to warm my feet on!
