Just that really!

OP posts:
OhDoh · 03/10/2023 20:02

Brio trains, dinosaur trucks, play doh set, space activity kit, space books, duplo

Coffeaddict · 03/10/2023 20:04

Marshal paw patrol trick, Orchard games toys, lego, puzzles

HongKongGarden · 03/10/2023 20:05

No bloody clue.

When the older one was three he’d completely changed what he was into between October and Christmas, so showed no interest at all in the Transformers and Paw Patrol toys we’d got him.

TheBirdintheCave · 03/10/2023 20:08

Duplo, a ukelele, clothes, books and maybe a child's camera if we can find one as he loves messing with his dads 😅

SleepingStandingUp · 03/10/2023 20:15

Nothing. Birthdays mid Dec. No presents until they're 6
I have too many bloody toys!!

Probably a scooter each... some Lego... art stuff...

thunderandsunshine01 · 03/10/2023 20:17

Blippi bin truck, cast iron motorbikes, aeroplane toy, stickle bricks, gruffalo teddy, books, coffee machine bubble maker for the bath.. more stuff too but that’s off top of my head

Parker231 · 03/10/2023 20:18

DT’s -,a boy and girl got Lego at that age and most birthdays and Christmas from then on. No different buying for boys than girls.

Hungrycaterpillarsmummy · 03/10/2023 20:20

At 3 I got our son pop up pirate game which went down well
He also got the GLTC pack and play farm with accessories, the large soft tiger toy from IKEA, quite a lot of books, GLTC ice cream shop, a bike.
God that wasn't even half. We got him way too much!

HongKongGarden · 03/10/2023 20:24

Ours are three and five, and I’m wondering whether the “Turing tumble” thing would work for either.

Oh no say that. I just ordered my 3 yo the paw patrol toy he asked for 😬

AllBlackEverything · 03/10/2023 20:39

A mud kitchen & accessories.

EcoCustard · 03/10/2023 20:47

Ds was 3 last Christmas and loved his hot wheels cars, Orchard dinosaur jigsaw puzzle, hungry hippos game and a barn & tractor for his farm. I’ve always found Christmas presents for Dc aged 3 & 4 tricky, they change so much.

midnightblue12 · 03/10/2023 21:02

I'm thinking the same thing 🙈
My now 6 year old had solid interests at this age, whereas my now 3 year old is the opposite 😳
I'm thinking maybe some fancy dress, play dough sets, hot wheels and maybe a train set. Maybe some Lego?

LividGas · 03/10/2023 21:05

Trying to avoid too much “stuff” as no space and I hate plastic tat.

So, bits of Brio for his train set.

NameChange30 · 03/10/2023 21:13

Why boy, are you not interested in what 3yo girls might be getting?

I have a son and daughter. When DS was 3 he got a bike (balance bike the Christmas before he turned 3, pedal bike the Christmas before he turned 4). Gave DD the balance bike for her third birthday. She's obsessed with paw patrol so also got various paw patrol gifts. Play dough was a big hit.

On my ideas list for Christmas I have:
Duplo train set
Vtech Kidizoom camera (DS has one and she often tries to steal it)
Toy microphone

I won't buy all these, but my parents usually ask me for ideas, so I will probably add to the list and decide what I'm getting nearer the time. I don't buy too early as I wait and see what they're into towards end of November.

kkr168 · 03/10/2023 22:25

DS will turn 3 on 2nd December, so presents will be split between both, so far we have...
Paw patrol bath toy
Paw patrol Teddy with nightlight
Shake it bluey, works a bit like bop it I think
Magnetic blocks

On my still to get list is Thomas & friends super tower but I'll probably look for a good condition 2nd hand one, far to expensive otherwise & he won't know the difference.
Books, he loves the push, pull, slide ones & ditty birds.
Some sort of arts & crafts set.
Zingo, although he might be a little to young?

JungleMama · 03/10/2023 23:34

Hugely outing for anyone who knows me IRL! My son aged 3 asked Santa for garden loppers 😂
He also got (from me) light & sounds vehicles, wooden train track extras (station, points, turntable etc), the compete set of Thomas the Tank Engine books, a speed track and a few new Tonies.

Caspianberg · 05/10/2023 06:57

I think we will get Ds a Tonie box and some audio figures.

Playmobil firetruck or bin truck maybe.

NameChange30 · 05/10/2023 07:38

My 3yo loves her Yoto. She's listening to it constantly atm!

ThomasinaLivesHere · 06/10/2023 18:37

A wooden train set

Oysterbabe · 06/10/2023 19:13

Play mobile toys are wonderful, so well made and detailed. The play value lasts for years.
