Presents for 9 year old twin girls

Looking for ideas for my twin nieces please, they're 9.

They like their own presents to unwrap, they do get jealous of each others sometimes so need things to be comparable. I always get them a joint gift or two too, board games or similar, and clothes- they like to match but different colours.

Total budget £80-100.

They live some way away so I always wrap and post.

All ideas appreciated please! Thank you!

Well it depends on what kind of things the twins like?

Do they like dolls? Makeup? Books? Geeky video game stuff?

Good point.

They love arts and crafts, bags, unicorns and cats, Lego. They don’t have electronics and I’m not sure what books they’re into.

My niece really likes the Lego Dots Craft Kits

They’ve got this if they like unicorns: https://www.lego.com/en-gb/product/unicorn-creative-family-pack-41962

My niece likes Harry Potter and they’ve got various themed ones so was probably going to get her one of those this year

B&M and Home Bargains sell a lot of girly craft-kit toys, like origami making or jewellery or bead art etc.

Do they have a camera? Amazon has a special on these camera’s if you buy two (can get one pink and and one purple). They print instantly in b/w but they also record video etc - reviews seem good too… might be really fun for them as it combines art with a very gentle intro into “electronics”

Dd is nearly 8 and loved her ginger cats Lego Brickheadz last year. She’s cat mad, cat Top Trumps? Lego Dots is well loved and always being tinkered with. Friendship bracelet making kit? A nice journal/notebook with pens, stickers to write, draw and put in it?

asterel · 02/10/2023 10:43

I was also coming on to recommend Lego Dots! DD also likes stationery, Posca pens, anything arty - age 9 she especially liked a set of 40 double-ended alcohol marker pens for art purposes. She also likes little crossbody bags and jewellery making kits.

Oodies if they don’t have them already! Pretty failsafe..and I’m sure you could get unicorn and cat designs..

Moodwill · 02/10/2023 20:26

These have been so helpful, thank you! Their birthdays are also in Jan so going to be using lots of these. The lego dots are cute.
