Can anyone recommend a bargain heated throw? Not too keen on the unknown brands but the Dreamland ones never seem to be on offer, can anyone remember if they go down around Black Friday?

Help! Looking for ideas for my impossible to buy for BIL enjoys walking when his feet allow, gets cold easily, is environmental and is interested in very random things… Previous hit presents kuddly blanket, organic clothes/hat to wear while walking, comedy tickets and a bug house… Any ideas most welcome!

@Slater22 have a look at heat holders. We love their socks for walking (they are 2.3tog i think so keep your feet toasty) but they also do hats, gloves etc

WidowedMum · 29/09/2023 12:28

@Slater22 a heated gilet or something ordnance survey map themed? They have a sale on in the OS shop here.

@Getoffmyroofbirdsyouwokemeup - I just adore the Spode Christmas pattern! The small Christmas tree shaped dish was £12.99, the square roaster was £16.99 with bigger dishes £19.99. Hope that helps.

Q

These were also on Brand Alley in the last week. Not sure on prices though.

I don't know if this is of any use to people (I don't understand Jellycat myself.
Turtle is £5 at Selfridges instead of £30 I believe. Xx

poostinkywink · 29/09/2023 14:45

Hi all, I took advantage of the first Vallente offer - the wax melts with hand wash and sample perfumes. They are fab. I went back because I can see everyone talking about a diffuser offer. I went back and got a pop up on the site for 65% off and a free diffuser - entered my email address to sign up for newsletters to get offer but nothing has come through. Is there a generic code? Have I done something wrong? Am I missing an important offer that I need? 😣

Does anyone else have a Lakeland brochure with codes they aren't going to use??

Blixem · 29/09/2023 15:01

I have a lakeland code if anyone wants it. PM me as I'm at work and the codes are at home.

Hedjwitch · 29/09/2023 15:05

I seen some in Asda earlier today but can't remember the price. But they had a big stand of them at the self checkout as I'd imagine most stores will have them.

WhyDoesItAlways · 29/09/2023 15:45

Not a bargain but I've just seen an article in ideal home magazine that hotel chocolat are releasing a velvetiser advent calendar at the end of October. It'll be £45 and have 24 sachets of hot chocolate. I think that sounds a bit pricey but may be a good pre christmas gift for a velvetiser fan.

Kungfoopanda · 29/09/2023 15:59

The heated throws in ASDA are £40, I saw them earlier this week.

WimbyAce · 29/09/2023 16:07

Still looking for Oliver Bonas inspiration, never shopped there before so I'm clueless!

WidowedMum · 29/09/2023 16:16

Thanks for all the heated throw suggestions, I’ll look through later and keep an eye out for more Lakeland codes as they stopped sending them to me for some reason!

Looks like Quidco is competing against topcashback as they’ve doubled cashback on a lot of big name sites today so might be worth comparing the two. I’ve added a referral link to the board.

Arewesureitisntbedtime · 29/09/2023 16:25

I ordered the Good Face Bad Face card game from OB to put in my boys' Christmas eve box (we always put a little game in there). It's by Big Potato so should hopefully be a decent little game. Thanks OP for the deal.
