Waitrose Christmas slots

Just seen that Waitrose slots are open.

Apologies if there's already a thread, couldn't see one.

I’ve never done a home delivery for Christmas - usually because I missed out on slots! I mean I don’t know what I want for Christmas already, can I edit my trolley between now and then??

Yes you can change your trolley. Usually up the the day before delivery

I can't see them on the website? Do you have to be a member of something?

Do you mean Waitrose on line or ocado? Can’t see that the latter are open yet?

I can't see Waitrose slits beyond October 20th.

You mean people who normally book home delivery? So partnership and Waitrose card holders who spend £200+ a week but go and get their shopping don't get any advance booking?

im never doing Waitrose again after they turned up without my turkey. seemed ridiculous that i had to pre order it as a entertaining order.mlnths in advnace and they just cancelled it. i panic bought a morrisons joint on Christmas eve. not happy.

But if you usually do all your shopping in-store, and never order online for home delivery, how are they supposed to know that you'd suddenly want to advance book a Christmas home delivery?

I think it's fair enough to offer priority slots to people who have paid the delivery charge week-in week-out.

I do think it might be regional as last year when people were posting that they had got theirs, ours were not available, but did come available within a few weeks.

I’m sure it was Oct last year for me (NW). Might fill a Waitrose virtual trolley and a Booths trolley and see who gets their act together first to get my custom
I don’t usually get a delivery or Click And Collect throughout the year so I don’t think it’s that.

Because people do home delivery at Christmas for obvious reasons? It should be related to Waitrose card spend. People that want to go to the supermarket can still do that.

I used to love when Waitrose was partnered with Ocado.

I have found waitrose online to be incredibly unreliable and have stuck with Ocado.
I am waiting eagerly for Ocado slots-I have saved my order list from last year!!!

I love an online christmas shop. I get turkey from a farm and can walk in to waitrose and get anything missed but love delivery for the convenience.
