@Stripedfluffysocks @Studswagger would your 9year old giftees already have the top trumps set? Or monopoly?

They do have top trumps but I hadn’t thought of monopoly- thanks!

BlairWaldorfOG · 25/09/2023 09:14

@tillytown lots on eBay, various sizes-

I can recommend A Game of Cat and Mouth for that age and basically everyone! It’s fun and silly and brings out a competitive side of even unlikely candidates.

Worth waiting for a deal/ tracking with the camels

@Studswagger - one adult and one kid ticket to the Liverpool FC museum at Anfield is £20...

Ginann · 25/09/2023 10:03

Asda are now doing 20% off a £30 + spend on clothes/ shoes/ pj's, kids and adults.

I'm sure last week it was only 10%.

MmmALovelyBitOfSquirrel · 25/09/2023 10:20

Not happy at all with OnlineHomeStore. First they send me someone else's order, blame me for not using the correct address (clearly I did as that's how I've got someone else's order and not my own!) asked me to carry the box a mile to the post office as I don't have the car (I refused), had to wait for their courier to pick it back up, then they eventually sent me the correct order out and it's awful.

The fabric is so thin I'm scared I'll tear it just by handling it, plus it was filthy! I tried washing it, thinking it's cheap enough to use in the dogs bed atleast, but the dirt is stained on. I didn't have high expectations but thought they'd be useable atleast!

I think I made the mistake of mixing them up with EverythingFivePounds when I'd been reading about the cheap Oodies. Hopefully others have a better experience with them than I have! The first pic is after it's been washed, second pic is the material, so thin you can see your hand through it.

I'm absolutely obsessed with getting a Cookeez now...but I'm going to try to wait for DD's spring birthday and maybe can get a better price after Christmas. It would definitely be for her. I'm definitely not buying it just so I can play with it.

MamaK19 · 25/09/2023 10:44

I can’t find the original poster to quote but somebody was asking for an air up code, when I purchased one in June I received an email with 20% off referral https://air-up.mention-me.com/m/ode/es8xd-c5cc616663
full disclosure it says if you click it I also get something but no idea what, might be of help to the OP looking for a code :-)

Get 20% off at air up

I recently used air up and they gave me a special offer to share with my friends. I’m treating you to an exclusive 20% off your first order. I’ll also get a reward, so it’s a win-win!

So funny 😂
I think I’m feeling a bit the same.
I imagine there’ll be a lot of feedback here come Christmas about what it was like.

Thanks for the Liverpool suggestions, I’ll have a look later. The dobble is ideal but I won’t pay £5 for delivery/collection from sports direct

@MmmALovelyBitOfSquirrel That’s such a shame. I had an order from OHS this morning and its the complete opposite. I’ve ordered quite a lot in the last couple of years from there and always been impressed.

MmmALovelyBitOfSquirrel · 25/09/2023 11:35

@UrbanMage yeah, I'm really disappointed, seems hit and miss but glad yours was good. Maybe they've had a rush of orders and things have started lacking somewhere. I'd ordered some towel poncho's from them last month and they were good enough but quite cheap/scratchy, did the job though! I won't be ordering from them again though. Will stick to (not very bargainous) Dunelm for cosy stuff in future!

Agree what a shame for the person who's had such a bad order and customer service

Try DFCNL10 for 10% off full priced items.

Needtostartover · 25/09/2023 12:57

Just to make you aware that the £5 has a shot date on it (mine says expires in two days). There was something in the original email about it being reissued in October or something, just thought I warn others on case they weren’t able to get there for a few days.

Needtostartover · 25/09/2023 12:59

*sorry messed that up! Was talking about the Hobbycraft app £5 offer that has a short (not shot) date!

Sod my 10yo DD. I want that oven myself! Even though I never bake or use the big over I have in the kitchen!

This sol de janerio gift set is only £26.86 with code at look fantastic. These smell lovely and are really popular with the younger ones at the moment. I’ve just grabbed one for my niece

Well that's my cookez ordered. Think my son will love it. Don't think we will redo it though, it'll spoil the fun of making it if he realises he's not really magically made it

@Qwerty21
I wonder if you could put a different toy inside so you are not making the same one then!

Ginann · 25/09/2023 14:37

@Duddlepucks what a great idea!

The New Mario Switch game is £37.50 pre order today from Curry's with code WONDER25. I've ordered, I think it's a good price as Mario games seem to rarely go under £40 especially new ones.
