@WimbyAce similar with the YSL stuff last year at JL

WhyDoesItAlways · 23/09/2023 13:30

I've jumped on the trespass bandwagon too and bought a few bits via amazon this morning.

I'm happy to set up another thread for all things trespass order related while we eagerly await dispatch/cancellation/delivery instead of clogging up this thread.

Ivalueloyaltyaboveallelse · 23/09/2023 13:33

@WhyDoesItAlways good idea 👍

YorkshireWelsh · 23/09/2023 13:49

Thanks for the Tresspass tip off mumsnetters! 2 coats and a backpack for work travel for me, gloves for DS, backpack for DH, and a gorgeous snowsuit for best friend’s baby….all for £36! Annoyingly I missed out on a gorgeous pair of snow boots for me but hey ho!
Fingers crossed it all turns up 🤞🤞🤞

WimbyAce · 23/09/2023 13:52

Thanks for who mentioned the Melissa and doug magic set, mum and dad are getting it as their gift 👍🏻

Bumblebeesince19 · 23/09/2023 13:54

Just as a little budget cutting idea for anyone who is struggling this year and normally buys for everyone every Christmas.. all of the adults in our family do secret santa with a set amount budget (we offer 3 budgets, everyone votes anonymously and then the lowest budget picked is what we go with so no one is going beyond their means). We all use the app "drawnames" to draw names and then each person can put a list on of things they would really like/have seen that's pretty cool etc. If they want to. That way everyone can get something they really want, or they can opt for a surprise :)
We also do this as parents amongst our group of friends with kids- it certainly makes things more manageable for us! :)

Sorry to ask for more advice. My DD (9) would like some cooking things that she can be independent with so not cooking! I’ve got the ice cream roll maker thing recommended on a previous thread. Any other ideas? X

Real life shopping today. It was very exciting! I can't remember the last time I went into town.
Managed to get a hogwarts rucksack in the M&S sale that was sold out online, some decent clothes & pjs on sale.
And they had their Xmas food so I've made my first purchase of the jelly merry munch. They also had advent calendars on sale.
Some beautiful kids dresses on sale in next too. Too nice for my girls unfortunately they are a bit feral 🤣

WidowedMum · 23/09/2023 17:23

I managed to get the Snakesss game in Poundland, thanks to whoever originally posted.

I thought I was out of luck as it wasn’t with the Christmas stuff and the other games but in the toy section with the really young baby toys so worth looking around if you want it.

I haven’t received my pack of 4 mystery boxes. I emailed them and they said they are waiting on stock and did I want a refund or was I happy to wait. I said I was happy to wait so I guess they will get here when they have some more stock.

I Iive chatted them today and got told they were out of stock, and they would be out for delivery soon but no timescale

Restlessinthenorth · 23/09/2023 17:34

I've literally just had a dispatch notification on my previously out of stock glossy boxes, so hopefully everyone else will soon too

@Thelifeofawife
1 of 2 items from Fossil arrived at the same time as when they e mailed me to say they couldn't process my order as my address was incomplete 🤷‍♂️.

So other item must come from somewhere different?
But strange how my address was ok for the item I received.

Have to say though that the item I received (for MEEE!! 😁😁) was nicely packaged.

It was a bracelet clasped around a card, in a lovely bag and inside a tin which is perfect for weekend /holiday trips for jewelry storage.

I was very pleased .
Hope other item is not too delayed...it is for a birthday!

Thanks again to PP who mentioned Fossil.

That’s strange, but glad you got your bracelet! (The most important gift 😉)
I raised a complaint via PayPal and they refunded my for 1 of the payments, but for the other they have said it’s been passed to Fossil for feedback, fingers crossed I either get the items or they arrange a further refund

Haveyoubrushedyourteeth · 23/09/2023 18:30

@MerylSqueak that's gorgeous! It would make me squee too 😍

Justhereforthechristmasthreads · 23/09/2023 18:44

If anyone is after a silly stocking filler B&M had pigs in blanket flavour pasta mugshots in today (dated 2025) for 50p

BlackFlyChardonnay · 23/09/2023 19:19

My valente order arrived and I'm so impressed. I'm gifting the wax melts but keeping the rest for me. All smells divine. I'm definitely going to order more from them.

Teenage DS wants a smart watch/fitness tracker.

Has anyone seen any good offers - or should I wait till Black Friday?.

The Garmin Forerunner 45 is a great first fitness tracker. Tracks by GPS. Currently £130 on the website, they do do Black Friday deals but it’s not always all their range of watches so might not go cheaper on the website. If you know anyone who has vitality health insurance then you can get 35/40% off it.
