I'm considering booking to go to the Ideal Home Show Christmas - has anyone been? What's it like?

We had free tickets a few years ago and it was literally The Ideal Home Show , nothing Christmassy about it , I don’t know if it’s improved since .

I only go when I get free tickets ( which are offered most years for both the Christmas and normal show via Martin Lewis website). As above its fairly much the normal show with a nod to Christmas, so some extra decorations , smaller gifts etc . Last time I drove and pre booked parking , but then found it was cheaper to pay to park when you got there unless you literally planned to stay all day. Also far less freebies now that pre covid , and less food stalls and product stalls with new products than there used to be . Honestly it’s ok for maybe 3 hours tops if you haven’t been before ( as the stalls don’t change much) and stay for lunch .

The main one this year was a bit rubbish, nothing like it used to be.

God yes. My local garden centre stocks better stuff. I was very disappointed in the IHS this summer.
