What does everyone have planned?

My kids are all over the age of 10 now and non believe anymore so seeing a father Xmas won’t be happening.

Im thinking Longleat festival of light.
A light walk in a National park
Maybe the hippodrome
Xmas film movie night

Looking for more inspiration!

We have plans to go to London and do winter wonderland next year.

We’ve got:

steam train ride with santa
NT the snowman trail

I’m going on a wreath making night with a friend

We usually walk around the local area looking at the Christmas lights on Christmas Eve(we are spoilt around here) and we’ll have a few film nights.

I wanted to do the lights at a local heritage place but it’s over £80 for a family of 4. I also looked into Disney on ice and pantos but it’s £££.

Only thing I can think to add to other suggestions is a Christmas themed Ghost Walk (a few local places do them here, either houses or through a historic part of town/city, with actors in costume telling stories). We booked one for £6 a head.

DD is only 2 so not planned too much.

Going Christmas tree shopping to garden centre
Visiting Christmas market
Small local panto
Train ride with Santa
Free festive film at ikea
Christmas theatre and craft workshop my mum has booked.

I’d love to do one of the lights events but they are so expensive! Might just walk around the neighbourhood one day instead and look at local lights. Also ice skating if there was a toddler event with suitable equipment.

I have booked to see the Nutcracker at the ROH followed by a Nutcracker themed Afternoon Tea.
I have booked to go to the local panto with my family.
I will book ice skating for the DC {note to self-do this asap}
I am also going to Velvet Pines-an immersive festive experience with my DH so looking forward to that.

I’m going to NYC the week before Xmas so haven’t really booked anything else at home apart from the panto.

I've already booked:

Wreath-making with a friend
Christmas Market with a friend
Panto plus dinner with DC & PIL
Santa Grotto at local attraction with friends
Christmas Market & Lights Switch on in our local town

I will book:
Illuminate at Hestercombe
Go & see Wonka when it comes out
Meal out on Christmas Eve (family tradition)

Kids are also doing with school 2 school trips, 1 to the theatre to see A Christmas Carol & 1 to a local attraction for a Santa Grotto & nativity experience.

We'll also look at local lights, visit garden centres to see the decorations. Might do Longleat - done it several times but it's so expensive.
