Hi, does anyone know where the best place to get these from so that they arrive in time, are still within their best before date and aren’t just teeny-tiny bite-size versions? Thanks. :)

Ooohhh not heard of these, going to Google them now!!

doodlejump1980 · 31/08/2023 20:56

There’s meant to be loads of weird and wonderful flavours! Thought they would be perfect for hard-to-buy-for DH

Watching with interest also!

I have never been able to find full size versions but I live in Ireland so not sure if is the same in the uk. I ordered mixed mini boxes via amazon. The expire dates were far out and I actually really liked the minis as I tried flavours that I was not overly fond and may not have finished a large bar (the purple potato one being an example) but was delighted to tey. Some asian markets stock a pack of mini bars, I have bought some in an Asian Market in Dublin. There are about 8 mini bars in the pack (all the same flavour). Wasbi bars are fab

I order my dd's Japanese sweets on Amazon but the Kit Kats do come small. You may be able to order Kit Kats only if not I go to the local Asian shop and have all kind of goodies.

PickledMuffin · 31/08/2023 21:13

OMG why did I not know about these before!!!!! Thank you OP!!

BlackAmericanoNoSugar · 31/08/2023 21:23

I love the green tea Kit Kats, I've only ever seen them in the mini version so I don't know if they come in full-sized.

When my Mum went to Japan on holiday she asked if I wanted anything so I asked for some green tea Kit Kats. She couldn't remember exactly what I'd asked for but remembered there was a colour in the name, so she brought back red bean Kit Kats. They were horrible.

APurpleSquirrel · 31/08/2023 21:28

If you have any Asian supermarkets, try them. You might even find them in the World Food sections in the supermarkets.
Otherwise try Amazon or there are lots of foreign sweets/candy sellers.

I did not know these were a thing!! I know what DH is getting for Christmas now!!

whatwhatwhywhen · 31/08/2023 21:32

Online Japanese Kawai store Tofu Cute sells them (and loads of other Japanese sweets too!). If you live near Portsmouth they have a shop you can visit.

MrsKwazi · 31/08/2023 21:34

There is no full size version as we know it even in Japan. In Japanese supermarkets you buy a bag with lots of minis in it, all one flavour, like we would buy ‘fun size’ snickers or whatever.

APurpleSquirrel · 31/08/2023 21:34

There are loads of flavours! Whether any are nice or not...?

Can highly recommend the Apple ones and also the purple yam/sweet potato ones.

PickledMuffin · 31/08/2023 21:38

Do I spy one called sparkling wine with a picture of someone driving?!

Landlubber2019 · 31/08/2023 21:40

We bought a box for Christmas, great fun trying the different flavours, most were lovely 😍

We also bought cat noodle bowls, which we 💕

Sorry I just don't remember where we order from 😕

Thank you for this, just spent £50 on there! Haha.

The Tokyo Treat subscription box is also fab as the box includes a full bag of kit Kat's, a drink and other treats in every box. They usually have all sorts of offers this time of year as well

All the ones I've tried are pretty nice. 😋

Thanks everyone! I’ll look those up tonight!

Got all excited on Sugiomart but they don’t ship to my address apparently!

Oh what a shame. I lived in Japan 2001-2003 and back then you could def get 4 finger bars in a selection of odd / amazing flavours

Holidaydiscosinglemum · 01/09/2023 21:53

Another vote for Tokyo Treat Box being fun! Just don't forget to cancel....
The peach kitkats were lovely

CandlestickInTheLibrary · 01/09/2023 22:41

Another Japanese food subscription box is Bokksu: https://www.bokksu.com/

They include savoury and sweet snacks and teas. Don't think I got a kitkat in every box sadly.

It looks like they sell individual kitkats in their online store.

daytriptovulcan · 01/09/2023 22:53

Just spotted them on ebay. 10 x banana carmel 13£ for 10
