You’re welcome. The buzz is such a bargain, nearly paid £45 last Xmas which was the cheapest it went to.

@Realfastfoodie I have these saved - https://www.argos.co.uk/product/9243167 for potential bulking, it's the best value standard bits I could find so far.

We have a very local charity shop dedicated to toys which is just brilliant, so I'm waiting until they get a good set in (there have been a few already that aren't quite the bits I'm looking for) before deciding what to bulk it out with. I'm aiming for 2 or 3 separate tracks so they don't have to collide/annoying each other, and hoping for some interesting tunnels/mountains/volcanoes and then some trees and animals haha. Bigjigs has some good sets, and I saw a jurassic park one on clearance a while back on studio that I should have just ordered.

I saw rc brio trains were on prime day so I'm planning black friday for those.

Can I recommend, aldi and lidl do wooden train sets every year before Christmas time . They are fab! Our lidl ones have made a huge collection. Compatible with all brands and are solid made. Such good value for money and have lasted years for us. We add to it every year

TherebytheGraceofGodgoI · 26/08/2023 12:48

@Checkinmylist1 that looks ideal for my sister for Christmas and a fab price (£60 in JL)
Have you ordered from Looksfantasic before? I always check new sites before ordering and there are a few reviews that state that products are old stock.
Although I’m thinking that theses oils would be ok for years if unopened.
How do you all rate Lookfanastic pls?

@NoWordForFluffy That's very kind! Shall I pm you and see?

@WetFlump yes I've got my eyes on them too. I think they're all compatible, ikea, tesco, which is great!

NoWordForFluffy · 26/08/2023 13:00

@Blessedbethefruitz, yes, do!

TheGirlWhoLived · 26/08/2023 13:03

@NoWordForFluffy if blessed doesn’t happen to be close by and you are midlands way, (I’m in worcester) I am also madly looking for wooden track this year 😃 we haven’t got any at all so probably basic starter stuff is ok, he’s absolutely obsessed with his Thomas trains so will be starting to have a mooch around charity shops trying to gather bits

TheGirlWhoLived · 26/08/2023 13:05

@TherebytheGraceofGodgoI i really love lookfantastic and have used it a lot, is the website lookSfantastic though? Wondering if it’s a bit of a play on the reputable one!

Flubadubba · 26/08/2023 13:06

The legit one is def lookfantastic.com @TheGirlWhoLived. It is owned by TheHut.

TheGirlWhoLived · 26/08/2023 13:08

@Flubadubba yeah that’s the one I use, I’m just wondering if in her post there was a typo as she wrote looksfantastic or whether they are trying to be a bit scammy iyswim

I'm not near you or @Blessedbethefruitz. However, RM Tracked 48 is reasonable (only a tenner for 15kg). I've offered that option to her first, but if she doesn't want to do that, I'm happy to post to you instead.

TheGirlWhoLived · 26/08/2023 13:24

Sounds great, that would be fab. Keep me posted 😃

My big Tesco stopped selling toys (it has an expensive Entertainer aisle instead). 😡
Can anyone tell me if their Tesco still sells toys? Greater Mcr areas, please! 🎁

TherebytheGraceofGodgoI · 26/08/2023 15:08

@TheGirlWhoLived Thanks for the update. Yes was a typo, was rushing to go out!

Checkinmylist1 · 26/08/2023 15:28

@TherebytheGraceofGodgoI I’ve used Look Fantastic quite a few times and always been happy. I’ve never had a problem myself but interesting about the old stock though 🤔 Like you say I’m sure the bath oils should be ok - I’m willing to take the risk at that price!

These Walkie talkies have come down to £14.99 for blue ones or £13.99 for pink ones, which is a good price for them.

I’ve mentioned about them in previous years - both my kids have been able to use them from 3ish (though still forget to hold/let go of the talk button sometimes) and they work really well.

A good fun gift for taking out on walks etc

Flubadubba · 26/08/2023 16:50
