Making my own artifical wreath

I fancy making my own artificial wreath this year. I've made a real one before, but want it to last a few years to be worth the effort! Any ideas on how to go about it? Where to get good artificial foliage from etc?

I love hobbycraft for anythinglike this! Last year I got a lot from there and Wilkes. Following with interest though as I love anything like this

Wilkos not Wilkes

Thanks, will check out hobbycraft and wilkos. I'll have to buy online, so sometimes it's difficult to judge the quality.

I made a bauble one last year and it got lots of comments.

I made a garland last year and what made it look realistic was having two different types of foliage!! We had an old cheap sparse one and a slightly better quality but still cheap one and wrapped them together! We also used real pinecones.
we got some stuff from a garden centre but most of it was bits from random shops like homesense

Thanks, mixing up the foliage is a good idea. Am planning pine cones, as I assume they won't rot and I can use the wreath again next year..

Hi @JarOfRocks I'm a florist and use Artificial Floral Supplies a lot, you don't need to be a florist to use this site 😊

They won't rot if you keep them dry. Hung up on a nail in the garage is a good shout. I make a real one each year with Holly and ivy. I also put on dried slices of Clementine. Small baubles look good too.

@Firsttimemumtobee thanks for the recommendation, will check them out!

@caringcarer good idea, keep out of the way in the garage rather than packed away.
