I’ve just got my little one 3 HappyLand Sets that would have cost over £100 brand new for £20 on marketplace!!

Great Bargain!
My DD (nearly 2 at Xmas)has some puzzles I picked up free on Facebook for her stocking and one of the Melissa and Doug sound ones I got for £2!
I also brought a lovely wooden farm for £10 on Facebook that I'm saving for her 2nd birthday.

Ooooooo well done you! Happyland second hand is often still expensive here!

Ace!

@ToddlerSAHM excellent!!

years ago I bought a load of happyland on eBay, in the days of manual bidding only, it became an absolute addiction!

I love HappyLand!

Lovely your DC won't know at that age and will just love it. Don't go spending a lot when kids are tiny because they will be happy with whatever they get.

Well done you op. I've also bagged some bargains for Christmas on vinted. Fisher price tea set for my little girl for £2 and the zoomizooz treehouse for £5 complete with a set of animals. Those were delivered prices too as I managed to bag them from new sellers. I'm very pleased.

My kids are going to be 6,4 and 1 and besides the gift from father Christmas are very aware that gifts second hand are just as brand new ☺️ we make sure to have a good clear out after Oct half term of things that have been loved but need are better in a new home so we have space for new things. Seems to work well here. I do spend the year on the prowl for advent calendar fillers and stuff though. I decided if it's in their stocking (and from the elves) it wouldn't make sense to be in packaging would it, which also conveniently means they never know the difference 😁 anything I do buy new I take out the packaging.

Good luck with more bargain hunting. Pretty sure it's additive though 🙂🙂

Well done OP.

Santa usually assembles and sets up toys in our house, sometimes with a big bow on top. Perfect to have it all ready to play immediately 😊

This is a good reminder for me to get all of our Leapfrog and Little Tikes stuff ready for sale!! DH refuses to store it for the next 30 years when we may have future grandchildren 😂

That’s a bargain! I bought happylamd new for my dd years ago & it was so expensive (I had more money then!)

I’ve just bought an XBox 369 with Kinect sensor from a hospice for £65 for my DD’s birthday! & will continue to do this. Clothes especially.

Brilliant bargain!

I picked up a Bluey playhouse with furniture yesterday on Olio for free! Said the door was a bit dodgy but my husband sorted it and I've given it a good clean and it's ready for my daughter's 3rd birthday in October. Going to buy some figures for it too.

My other daughter is 5 so still at a good age for second hand gifts.

ChristmasCwtch · 04/08/2023 19:26

@PumpkinSpicedTea I saw the packs of Bluey figures in Aldi yesterday

PumpkinSpicedTea · 04/08/2023 21:57

@ChristmasCwtch ooh thank you that's ideal!
