Yes me too! It's going to be our first big holiday since before covid! We are flying to visit family in America. I've been saving up my Tesco vouchers for years to get us Premium economy flights.
We usually go to Vermont for a couple days - my son can ski and it's snowy and beautiful.

Agreed, OP! Day 3 of high 20s here and I’ve reached my limit. Sunshine is wonderful, but today I found myself daydreaming of Christmas. I always love that the Christmas forum is here whenever I need to indulge.

Back in the day when all this was fields, QVC used to do a brilliant Christmas in July event on the 25th .
I used to make sure I booked a day off work or when the DC were school age I'd be a A/L that week. in the holidays (and they knew the telly was mine )

The had loads from the USA (parent company based in USA)

Then it got a bit shit , they dragged things out of Clearance to put a CIJ price on it .
Then didn't even dedicate the 25th to it .

I have a look online now and don't bother watching.

I do ;ists throughout the year and once Sept rolls round start serious thinking about Christmas

One year in was in Sainsbury on the hottest August day of the year and they had winter clothes in stock. I bought a gorgeous fleece lined coat in dark plum for my DD (she;d have been 6-7) . The woman at the tilll thought I was barmy

Well, I started with the stocking filler bits today in 28 degrees heat around town and picked up the Xmas tea towels I’d ordered 😄.

We’ve had 3 lousy Christmas’s thanks to lock down and catching Covid last year, so I’m determined that this year will be a good one! (Now I’m worried I’ve jinxed it 🤣)

I bought a purposefully christmas present today whilst finding birthday presents for somebody else!

I hate the hot weather, I can't wait for cooler and darker weather.

And I love my summer Christmas. Going to early Mass and everyone is in bright colours and light dresses. Every window in the house is open to the fresh air (or shut tight for the aircon!).

I love, love, love the moments before the sun comes up and I am out in the garden in my nightie with the birds and the fresh smell. I can’t tell you how much I love those few minutes.

A damp, grey Christmas is just no fun.

Same. I love summer, sitting in the garden, going to the beach or woodland park walks, but my favourite time of the year has always been autumn. I love the Ber....months 😊
