I needed to post a parcel to a family member today so I put all my Christmas cards for their local area in the parcel. Then I sat down and wrote the rest of the stack. Definitely don't send as many as I used to - I think I only need 7 stamps. This is very early even for me and I won't be posting them until the second week of December.

It's very surreal. We weren't even going to buy this year not that long ago. Then suddenly we did! 🤷‍♀️🤯

Can't wait to get in. One of DH's friends has ordered us this as a house warming present, to go into the apex of the house outside! 🎅🏻🎄

I got some more gift buying done yesterday, need to do some more today. Can’t believe how behind I am compared to usual.

My plan this weekend is to wrap what I have so it's not a post-move job. I need to get a few more bits for DD, but I've no idea what. I'm thinking maybe body sprays and bits like that, seeing as she's a tween.

Obviously we have our priorities straight and the star going up will be one of the first last jobs.

I bought one three of the Rapesco ones for £3.50 (bargain thread) a few years ago. They're revolutionary. 🤣

I didn't achieve anything yesterday. I think I hit a wall and just couldn't focus on anything. Ended up going to bed early and just lying there glassy eyed and scrolling through Pinterest

70 I bought a sellotape dispenser a few years ago and it makes wrapping so much easier.

@ConstantlyCooking, that's our actual house. The star is going into the apex above the balcony (which is off our bedroom).

That makes sense now. It should look fab (and needs to be unpacked first)!

32 it's almost December and I am definitely behind with my planning. We're away this weekend but I am planning to take Christmas cards to write.

Morning. It's bloody windy out there!

I may have succumbed to the We R Christmas Black Friday sale yesterday and bought 4 x 9ft garlands to wind up the banisters in the house. We can do click and collect from there now, which is vaguely exciting and bad for the bank balance!

I failed at doing photo gifts of the kids for the grandparents this year, Constantly, so I'm not just behind, I've done very badly. In fairness, we take far fewer photos now they'd have to have one of the dog, who's our favourite child, this year!

I want garlands! I’m broke though, maybe next year…

I must write some of my essay today, I really wanted to be finished by December but that’s not going to happen 🫠

Yesterday was the 1st day that it didn't rain at all here, I saw a really good apartment and made progress with the bank on opening an account. (Brussels = bureaucracy is a truth!!). But if I can get the bank sorted, and get that apartment, I can be moved in before Christmas !! (But likely move in but leave lots of boxes still filled while I head home for the holidays).

And tomorrow is both the Late Late Toy Show on RTE, and opening of Christmas markets here.
