I am just waiting outside my friends house for day three of induction training. How I will make it to Friday I have no idea. I am knackered.

the last 3 months seem to fly by!
Primark had some gorgeous christmas bits in when I was in yesterday, including a beaut of a bolster cushion I have my eye on!

Put away all of the garden toys this weekend for the year and I need to get the lawn mowed before it gets too long but it has been so damp.

I went back to being a teen and watched Busted last night - was good but I 100% wasn't well enough and feel knocked out today.

I used my lunch break to do a small food shop for dm in Sainsburys and am working the afternoon from her house.
I noticed m half an aisle of Christmas food/chocs and some Christmas cards appearing...

I have a madly busy few days now - MIL is coming to visit today and will be here until the weekend, dm still needs some support although she's getting better daily, and both mine and DHs work is manic. Fun times!

Roll on the weekend when MIL will be home, sister on dm duty, DH is away, dad will be out and I'll be home alone reading my Christmas magazine and doing some online shopping and plannng

Exciting times today as our mortgage offer finally came through. Only took 3 weeks and I have no fingernails left. 😬

Now for the legal stuff to complete (we've already signed the contract), and we can talk dates. 🏠

It's so exciting Fluffy.

I day left of induction thankfully. I had forgotten how annoying working 9-5 is plus the commute an hour either way.

Not long to suffer go, Why!

It's very exciting. The house is just lovely. ❤️

Morning!

We want to be in before Christmas, but we have to give notice on this house on the 7th of the month, so if we miss 7 Nov, that'll mean moving close to Christmas, and that's not happening.

Just need the legal stuff to be done, hopefully swiftly. It'll be the seller's solicitor which slows stuff down, not ours, as she's on fire so far! But there's an issue with the plan, which I don't know how long will take to resolve. So could be ages for all I know! 🤷‍♀️

And yes. Two identified (so far) spots for a Christmas tree! 🎄🎄🎄

Why induction is the worst. I don’t have to have induction as I’m in the same service just a different team but I’ve had to do a welcome week at uni again which has been so dull. First day in the new office today.

I am in the same service but it is a new role being set up. We are trailblazers 😂 so we had to do some dbt and counselling skills. Should be interesting once it beds in.

I definitely agree that inductions are the worst why. So so boring!

If you do, will you be buying any new trees/garlands etc for the house if there is more than 1 prime tree spot?

Still feeling a bit rubbish here but I'm on the mend I think. Just very sneezy/snotty my DH is a very lucky man but hoping it'll all clear up over the weekend.

If we buy anything else, I imagine it'll be in the sales, Crazy, so for next year. See where our stuff goes this year first! Then plug the gaps. I want stair garlands, I think.

Morning!

We went to a dog field this morning as the kids are at the in-laws' house. He's now a sparko doggo on the sofa! It's his birthday a week today. I'm not sure he's aware of it, mind! 🤣🤣

It's meant to chuck it down after lunch. Until after lunch tomorrow. Hurrah. 🙄

We're going to do some sorting / packing in a bit. We're just having more tea first!

I have far too many deliveries coming for the new house on Monday: TV cabinet for the kids' lounge, coat / shoe stand for the hall and paint for the lounge (we wanted the colour we have here, and it's in short supply as it's discontinued, so I grabbed 5L of it while I could!). I also ordered a bistro set for the bedroom balcony. Can't miss out on sitting out there as soon as possible!

It’s warm and sunny here. The next ten days shows the same and 22°. We’re going to a wedding today so dh isn’t working which is a pain as we need the money!

Pnich Punch first of the month

We ( DH , DD and I ) watched that "GhostWatch" programme last night ( the one with Sarah Green, Mike Smith, Micheal Parkinson and Craig Charles ) . It caused quite a stir when it first aired !

Morning. Very chilled out here - DH is away this weekend so I had an early night last night, woke up early and spent the morning in bed with a cup of tea and my Christmas magazine, then cross stitching. Even eased myself into the Christmas spirit by watching festive episodes of some shows (there's a very helpful Merry Christmas collection on Disney+).

Going to do a bit of housework then taking dm out for lunch with sister, niece and nephews which will be nice.
Then back home for another chilled out evening - hoping all the relaxing kicks this bloody cold in to touch 🤞🏼
